2、What are the most common seen water pipes differences?
1)Application: PVC pipe is mainly used for water drainage. PE pipe is manily used for water supply in the city civil engineering.
2)Outside Diameter(OD):
The common seen OD of PVC pipes are below 400mm, the largest OD maximum reaches 1200mm. JWELL has the capability to provide.
The common seen OD of PE pipes are below 630. The largest OD can reach up to 2500mm. More often seen large OD PE pipe at the size of 1200mm, 1600mm, 2000mm. The larger size the manufacturer can provide, the more advanced technology and stablility of the machine are needed.

Professional description on water pipes
1、 Hard vinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipe
PVC-U pipeline is the sanitary grade PVC (PVC) resin as the main raw material, adding the right amount of stabilizer, lubricant, filler, colorant and other plastic extruder and injection molding, through cooling, curing, shaping, inspection, packaging and other processes to complete the production of pipe, pipe parts.
Advantages of Pvc-U pipeline: light weight, corrosion resistance, small water resistance, energy saving, quick installation and low cost.
Scope of application: urban tap water transmission and water supply engineering, water supply engineering inside and outside construction, water supply engineering of industrial and mining enterprises, buried fire protection and water supply engineering, irrigation engineering, garden greening water supply engineering, aquaculture water supply and drainage engineering, etc.
2、Polyethylene (PE) pipe
The PE pipe is processed without adding heavy metal salt stabilizer, and the material is non-toxic, without scale layer, and without breeding bacteria, which well solves the secondary pollution of urban drinking water.Except for a few strong oxidants, it can withstand the erosion of various chemical media; no electrochemical corrosion.The PE pipes can be used safely for more than 50 years at rated temperature and pressure.PE pipe good toughness, high impact strength, the heavy weight directly over the pipe, will not cause pipe rupture.The strength of the hot melt or electric melt interface of the PE pipe is higher than that of the pipe body, and the joints will not be disconnected due to soil movement or live load.Light pipe quality, simple welding process, convenient construction, the comprehensive engineering cost is low.
3、Ungauge co-poly polypropylene (PP-R) water pipe
The PP-R tube, also known as the three-type polypropylene tube, uses irregular co-poly polypropylene through extrusion into pipe material, and injection molding into pipe fittings.It is a new plastic pipeline product developed and applied in Europe in the early 1990s.PP-R is the late 1980s, using gas phase copolyization process to make about 5% PE in PP molecular chain randomly uniform polymerization (irregular copolyization) and become a new generation of pipeline material.It has good impact resistance and long-term creep performance.
Advantages of PPR pipe: moderate price, stable performance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, smooth inner wall without scaling, the pipeline system is safe and reliable, and not permeable, the service life of up to 50 years.So-called never scale, never rust, never leakage, green advanced water supply materials.
Disadvantages of PPR pipe: high construction technical requirements, requiring special tools and professionals to ensure the safety of the system.
PPR Pipe application:
1. Hot and cold water system of the building, including the central heating system;
2. Heating system in the building, including floor, siding and radiation heating system;
3. Pure water water supply system that can be drunk directly;
4. Central (centralized) air-conditioning system;
5. Industrial pipeline system for chemical medium transmission or discharge.
4、Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) engineering plastic water supply pipe
The material for manufacturing the pipe is the mixed ingredient of propylene monobutyadiene monostyrene, which is mainly ABS resin, only the additives needed to improve its physical, mechanical and processing properties are added, the additives should be evenly dispersed.The density of probutadiene (kg/m3) is 1000 l070. Acbutadiene monostyrene shall be greater than 20 (mass score) and other components not greater than 5% (mass score).Raw materials shall be made of pipes and tested as per GB / T 18252, minimum required strength MRS 14 MPa and minimum overall use (design) coefficient C is 1. 6.
The ABS pipes and fittings shall be manufactured in accordance with the GB / T 20207 regulations.The chlorinated PVC piping system for transporting drinking water shall meet GB / T 17219-1998.
According to the chemical resistance and hygiene of the materials, it is suitable for the transportation of powder, liquid and gas in industrial and construction fields, oil, chemical, power electronics, metallurgy, mining, electroplating, paper, food and beverage, air conditioning and medicine.
